Show up any Wednesday evening for a sense of how we roll and what it is that packs our house week after week.
A weekly eMail is our means of communication on the detail relating to all of our activities. It's also how members reserve a spot at our weekly events and for our open stage line-up.

The Corktown Ukulele Jam happens EVERY Wednesday 8-11pm
The first Wednesday of each month is a Theme NiTE.
Every Wednesday is a great Wednesday but Theme NiTEs are extra-special.
We make our home in the Corktown Lounge of Toronto's legendary
Dominion on Queen
500 Queen Street East, Toronto ON
(at Sumach, 2nd light west of the DVP) MAP
So far, we have been able to operate at no cost except for a $5 cover on theme NiTES which includes all or part of the evening.

Corktown Ukulele Jam: first hour workshop is lead by Steve McNie Our 8pm workshop is usually presented by Steve McNie whose divide/conquer approach has opened musical doors for literally hundreds of GTA uke players. There is something for everyone of all playing levels and musical interests.
At 9pm we break to fill our glasses, mingle and jam.

Corktown Ukulele Jam co-founder along with Steve mcNie: David Newland From 9:30-11pm, It's open-mic with a hosted line-up of CUJam members who perform or lead songs: 17 on theme nites, 7 on regular nites.
On regular nites the "final 45" minutes is a group jam on tunes from our JamBooK.

Sign-up to perform or lead a song at any of our events is online in advance.
To sign up, you need to be on our email list: subscribe (once only, ever) in the upper left column of this page.

If you are leading a song or would like to get something into our JamBooK, please bring it on a memory key as a powerpoint doc.

June 16, 2010 - In Toronto for Moses Znaimer's IDEA CITY conference, Jake dropped by the Corktown Ukulele Jam and spontaneously performed, spoke and signed ukes for the better part of an extraordinary 2.5 hours. Jake's impromptu visit will become an indelible memory for those of us fortunate enough to have been there.
